- Admission through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or on 12th pass percentage basis
- Passed 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

- Passed Diploma exam from an AICTE approved institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
- Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC,
with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to
reserved category) and passed 12th standard with mathematics as a
subject.

- Admission through GATE / B.E. / B.Tech.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field
- Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to
reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
